Clean, pure water is an important foundation for health. Our bodies are made up of over 60% water and rely on water and the proper balance of electrolytes to maintain appropriate signaling, metabolism and structure. We lose water from the body through respiration, urination and sweating, so staying adequately hydrated is especially important when we are active or in the hot summer months.

Simple Pure Whole Water Source Solutions

Studies find contaminants in many water supplies, so it is important to have a clean, pure source of water.

  • If you are fortunate to live near a fresh, clean spring, this can be a great healthy option. Search for a natural spring near you with Find a Spring.
  • A high-quality water filtration system is another option for purifying your water. A whole house filtration system allows you to purify all the water entering your home. A less expensive option is to use a countertop model like the Berkey Water Filtration System(affiliate link) to purify your drinking and cooking water.
  • It is also important to filter your shower and bath water(affiliate link), since you can absorb chemicals like chlorine through the skin and breathe in their vapors whenbathing.
